The embroidery is done by hand in Portuguese silk thread, spun the same way for 800 years in Castelo Branco, Portugal - our mark of provenance, your signature of ownership.

When not in use, store your piece wrapped in the acid-free tissue paper provided, then place it inside your Fátoli box, away from moisture and direct light. Our boxes are breathable, designed to let the silk rest.

Our artisans create little delicacies for the soul. Each piece is born, stitched, and finished by the same hands, honoring techniques passed down through generations.

Today, only two ateliers remain. Castelo Branco is one of them, producing silk on a farm where they grow their own mulberry trees, feed the silkworms, and spin the thread by hand.
