At this moment, the visits to my grandparents became more frequent, and I grew more involved in their work. He, Alexandrino, was a tailor, and she, Rosa, was the tailoring specialist. The atelier had been founded in Porto in 1957, and by the time I entered their world, it had already shaped decades of stories and celebrations.
We create with methods that have persisted for centuries: tailored lines drawn by hand, hems rolled by fingertips, silk thread spun in Portugal for 800 years. The scissors I use belonged to my grandfather. The boxes that hold our pieces are made by hand. Fátoli & Hers ensures that each piece can be cherished and passed down for generations.
Our artisans create little delicacies for the soul. Each piece is born, stitched, and finished by the same hands, honoring techniques passed down through generations.
